There are very few pieces of equipment that I would consider truly life changing. My first car when I was 16, my first computer. Maybe the very first really nice bike I ever bought. It is a short list. Not many things really catch my imagination. I consider them useful tools, but hardly life changing.
Well...I got one to add to my list. After being a blackberry user for 10+ years on Verizon, I bought the new 3G I Phone. I know, I am a geek but it is an amazing piece of equipment. Sure the apps are cool. LOVE playing the Pandora music (ska and classic reggae is my fav), backgammon and cribbage. But it's the phone and the calender that is appealing for my biz. I can also log in to my desktop remotely and operate it like I was back at my office. Big help when you don't bring a file to a meeting when I am 1,200 miles away.
My brother has been a MAC guy for 20 years (early adapter). But I am now a convert. Now...about that PC.
